Dear Adrienne and family

We are so sorry for your loss.  Chester will be missed by many.  He was a good man we so enjoyed the time you spent with us at the farm in Ohio.  I still run into those pictures of the 3 of you in front of the JD combine.  I wouldn't trade them or the memories for anything.  If ever in OH, I would love to see you.  Please feel free to stop in.  My prayers are with you and your family in this time of sadness.

With much sadness, Marilyn

Dear Adrienne and family,
I had the pleasure to work with Chet for 6 years.  I was in Syracuse between 1982 and 1986 and had responsibility for a wide area of Western New York, including Binghamton.  He was more than a  great employee, he became a good friend.  This was especially true when he took over the responsibility of the terminal.  No one appreciated his dedication more than I did.  We worked together on many projects and efforts to make the operation there a success.  And it was... and he deserved all the credit.  Several people made an impression on me while I had the area, none more than Chet.

A loyal employee, a pilar of honesty but most of all, just a great person.  You all have deepest sympathy for your loss.  I wish you all, peace and continued memories of a great individual.

Adrienne, Dear,
I can''t find the words to tell you how much this has affected me. Much of that is knowing how you are suffering. I have loved Chet and the Silvernails for 70 years and you for ----- as long as I''ve known you. You have not only been great cousins but I know you have been role models to so many people.
I know Chet is resting in peace with our Lord, and I pray peace for you, too.
My family and I love you very much,
Jan

Dear Adrienne and family;  you don't know me, but I worked with Chet for several years out of the Albany and Newburgh Mobil Oil terminals.  As a fellow supervisor we both reported first to Ray Russum, then Matt D'Amico as our boss.  He was a loyal, competent and dedicated employee who ran an excellent operation for the company we both enjoyed working for, and its management.  As a fellow vet (Vietnam) I also commend him for his service to and love of his country.  And to his family.  Take pride in the decent man, father and husband he was.  God's blessing on you all.

Adrienne and all of Chet''s family,

Such a sad time for everyone.  My love and prayers go out to all.

The home Chet and Adrienne shared was truly a little piece of heaven.  I will never forget the Silvernail reunions held there and appreciate the hard work that went into the preparation for each time the family was together.  Never to be forgotten moments. Chet was a very special man!!

Dear Steven and his family,

Your friends in music are side by side with you as you honor the life of your Dad.  I can think of so many bluegrass gospel tunes we could be playing to accompany him.  Will you play "Angel Band" for us?
