William "Bill" C. Roth Jr.

William "Bill" C. Roth Jr., 73, of Smithville passed away on February 1, 2025. He is predeceased by his mother, Lillian Baker; father, William C. Roth Sr.; sisters, Jean, Shirley and Marjorie; and brother, Donald. Bill is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara Roth; daughter and son-in-law, Marjorie and Chris Perez; son and daughter-in-law, BJ and Ashley Roth; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Sarah Roth; he was "Gampa Roth" to Aidan, Jackson, Logan, Abby, Lillie and Garrison; and many nieces and nephews. Bill worked and retired from Raymond Corporation after 39 years of service. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially going fishing. He was a huge Syracuse University football and basketball fan. He also loved watching his grandkids play sports. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. A private graveside service will take place in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Genegantslet Fire Company, 5229 Main St, Smithville Flats, NY 13841 or the Greene EMS, 30 Birdsall St, Greene, NY 13778.
