William C. Drachler

William C. Drachler, 87, passed away on October 7, 2025. He was born in Greene on August 5, 1938. He was predeceased by his wife, Marie in 1990. He is survived by his wife, Carol; his son, Will (Jennifer) Drachler; daughters, Pamela (Ralph) Gagnon, Beth (Josh) Browning, and Katherine Heisler. Also surviving are stepsons, Peter (Kelly) Browning and Patrick Browning; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Bill had a 60 year career as a civil engineer with a Professional Engineers License and a land surveyors license. He achieved many honors for his activities with Professional and Civic organizations. There will be no calling hours and private burial will be in Sylvan Lawn Cemetery in Greene. Arrangements are under the direction of Root Funeral Home, 23 N.
