Timothy D. Connell

Timothy Connell, 55 from Chenango Forks, NY passed away on March 18, 2023 at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. He is predeceased by his father, Edward Connell and mother, Genevieve Bellizzi. Tim is survived by his love, Christina Gascon, his brothers, Scott, Gary and Mike, his stepchildren, Tony, Lucy, Michelle, Jenny, Molly, Andrew, Bryan and Emily, and his grandkids, Mikayla, Brody, Reese, Gabby, Liam, Keigan, Marie and Kenzie. Tim enjoyed hunting, building things, and spending time with George, his faithful dog. Tim loved watching and commenting on the news, and other action films. Tim’s dry sense of humor and candor were a breath of fresh air to all of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Underneath his stoic exterior was a caring, thoughtful and strong man that many trusted and relied on for support when in need. Though taken from his family and friends before his time, his legacy will live on. Tim was a wonderful son, a caring father-figure, a loving partner, a respected brother, and trusted friend. To all the doctors and nurses at Upstate Medical Cancer Center, thank you for all you did—you are appreciated. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service to be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Root Funeral Home 23 North Chenango Street, Greene, New York 13778. Calling hours will be held Saturday from 3:00pm until the time of service at Root Funeral Home.
