Thelma Elizabeth Kinne

Thelma E. Kinne, 85, of Greene, went to be with her Lord surrounded by her family on April 19th. She is survived by her loving husband, Bill, of 61 years; son and daughter-in- law, Darald and Eileen Kinne, daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Rich Ingraham, son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Rhoda Kinne, son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Darby Kinne; seven grandchildren, Kristopher and Melisa Kinne, Kimberly and Ben Roe, Jared and Starla Ingraham, Heather and Elzy Linder, Megan Kinne, Brendan and Bekah Kinne, and Madison Crissell; four great grandchildren, Elijah and Ethan Roe and Easton and Holden Linder. Thelma started her career as a beautician at Tony’s Beauty Salon in Binghamton. Her greatest joy in life was to become a wife and stay at home mother. She supplemented the family income by making and selling beautiful cakes. She loved the Lord and was a powerful prayer warrior. Her family and friends will miss her dearly. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Norwich Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for their compassionate care of our wife and mother. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 26th from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Root Funeral Home, 23 N. Chenango Street, Greene, NY 13778. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Friday, April 27 at Root Funeral Home, 23 North Chenango Street, Greene, New York 13778. Burial and committal services will immediately follow at Geneganslet Park Cemetery on Route 12, Greene..
