Shirley Davy

Shirley F. Davy passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Norwich Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.  She was predeceased by her husband, W. Harold Davy (Coventry, NY) and her brother, Bryce Fisher (Afton, NY).  She is survived by two daughters, Nancy (David) Beecher and Brenda Davy; two grandchildren, Darlene (Julio) Collado and James Beecher; and two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Emily Collado. Shirley worked for 20 years in the accounting department at Bendix Corporation in Sidney, NY.  She enjoyed growing her beautiful flower gardens, travelling to many countries throughout the world, being involved in the many activities of the Coventry United Methodist Church, and watching their trotters and pacers race throughout the State. The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the entire staff at Preston Manor Home for Adults for their excellent care and affection shown to our mother during the last 13 1/2  years of her life. Friends of the family may call from 10:00am to 11:00am Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Root Funeral Home, 23 N. Chenango St, Greene, NY 13778.
