Sharon A. Excell

Sharon A. Excell, 80 of Greene passed away on September 27, 2023 at Vestal Park Nursing Home. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Shane Excell, 5 children, step-daughter, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step- grandson, brothers, sisters, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Sharon was a nurse at Hamilton Hospital for twenty years after which she works at Walmart until her retirement. She had many friends thanks to her love of camping, diners and ice cream. The family wishes to thank the staff of Vestal Park Nursing Home for her wonderful care. Friends of the family may call Tuesday from 10:00am to 11:00am at Root Funeral Home 23 North Chenango Street Greene, NY 13778. A graveside service will immediately follow at Sylvan Lawn Cemetery in Greene. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
