He is survived by his sister, Kathy Roach; nephews, Matthew and Michael Roach and special friends, Al Cozens and Lori Schreir who were by his side when he passed. Ron was a very accomplished wrestler while in high school at Greene and in college at Cortland State. He was highly respected and an avid golfer, winning several awards in the area and even played in the ProAM at the B.C. Open. He was a gentle, unselfish and caring soul who would help anyone in need. April 10, 2021 8:43 AMRon was my frat brother at Cortland State, and we had many great times there. I got to see him in Florida several years ago, and he was gracious and funny, as usual. Speaking for all his Lambda Phi Delta brothers, it was our privilege to share time on this earth with him. Rest in peace, "Romilar".
