Robert R. Huntley Jr.

Robert R. Huntley, 90 of Greene, passed away on December 23, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Doris Huntley Sr. and his second wife, Myrna Huntley. He is survived by 2 daughters, Elise French (Keith) of Maine, NY and Linda Teter (Richard) of Greene; grandchildren, Aria French (Robby) and their son Ryley, Logan French, Kelsey Jones (Aaron), Christopher Teter (Christine); first wife, Lore Huntley; siblings, Larry Huntley, Pat Hoag and Joan Anderson. Robert retired from Raymond Corporation after 40 plus years, where he held several material handling patents. He was general manager of Material Handling Associates. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman and naturalist. He treasured family time at his cottage in Canada and enjoyed Molson Canadian with salt and an olive.  His generous, loving and peaceful spirit will live on through the memories his family hold dear. The family would like to thank Vestal Park (Brookside Garden) for the care that Bob received. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, January 19, 2023 at the First Congregational Church, 28 N. Chenango Street in Greene, NY.  Calling hours will be from 1:00pm until the time of the service at the church. The Rev. Curtis Whitman will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Lourdes Hospice.
