Raymond C. Harris Jr.

Raymond C. Harris Jr., 83, of Greene went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond Sr. and Catherine Harris; sisters, Agnes and Margret; and brothers, Arthur and Gerald. Raymond is survived by his brother, Harold Harris; 2 step-children, Mike and Jennifer; close friends, Pastor Karl Silfee, Buzz Green and Brad Aldrich; and many nieces and nephews. Ray owned and operated Harris and Evary Roofing Company in Castle Creek for many years. After retirement he moved to Florida where he started his own cleaning company. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, May 18, 2024 at True Life Christian Church, Route 206 between Coventry and Coventryville. A luncheon will follow the service and a committal service will take place after the luncheon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ray's name to the Brisben Baptist Church, 2717 State Highway 12, Oxford, NY 13830.
