Phyllis R. Hatton

Phyllis R. Hatton, 88, of Coventry went to be with the Lord on September 3, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald S. Hatton; sons, Bruce and Larry; brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Janet Stringham; sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Charlie Peters; sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Bill Lee; and son-in-law, Roger Shaw. Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Connie Shaw; son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Tammy Hatton; daughter-in-law, Fran Hatton; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews; and life long friend, Shirley Demick. Phyllis was a farmers daughter and wife. She also worked at Page Seed Company. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a good friend. She loved the Lord and is with Him now. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, September 13 at the Coventry United Gospel Church, 2569 State Hwy 206, Greene, NY 13778. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made out to the Coventry United Gospel Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Root Funeral Home, 23 N.
