Paul Dickinson

Paul E. Dickinson, 59, of Coventry peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones on September 9, 2024 after a long and courageous 4-year battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his mother, Karen Dickinson; step-mother, Elda Dickinson; brother-in-law, Richard Mclain; and niece, Amanda Romano. Paul is survived by his wife, Shari Dickinson; son, Justin Dickinson; daughter, Angelica Stiles; son and daughter-in-law, Aaron (Jen) Dickinson; daughter and son-in-law, Kristin (Roman) McLarney; daughter and son-in-law, Malex Henry; daughter, Kayli Dickinson; son, Tanner Stiles; 9 beautiful grandchildren; father and step-mother, Dean (Tish) Dickinson; siblings, Mary Jo (Paul) Lakomski, Lisa (Doug) Carkuff, Donna (Jeff) Converse and Dean (Heather) Dickinson; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat, Jack. Throughout his journey, Paul overcame numerous obstacles and inspired all who knew him. As a hero to many, his smile lit up every room he entered, leaving an enormous impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Paul will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his strength, resilience, and the joy he brought into the lives of others. - Paul was a truly great son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, friend, team player, provider of wisdom, keeper of knowledge, giver of hugs, mower of lawns, purveyor of illegal fireworks, amazon deal finder, confidante, musician, uplifter, drinking companion, family finance manager, and last but not least, warrior. He's only been absent from our lives a few days but we miss him immensely already. May he have a long deserved rest. We ask anybody who knew Paul to turn on their radio, play the song “Simple Man” by Lynyrd Skynyrd, look up at the sky and say “cheers to you Paul”. The celebration of life for Paul will be at a later date in October, that official date will be released in the very near future.
