Patricia Kathleen Husband

Patricia K. Husband, 80 of Greene passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on August 24, 2023. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Elizabeth Downs; siblings, Mary Berg, James Downs, Elizabeth Perkins and infant sister Maureen Diane Downs. Pat is survived by her husband, Gary; daughter, Maureen Kimble (Bruce Kinney); 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Maureen Brazill-Husband, Joseph and Johanna Husband; grandchildren, Benjamin (Meaghan), Eric (Katelyn), John (Megan), Ethan, Collin, Lilliana, Tommy and Jazmyne; 8 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Jean Downs; 2 sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Pat and Jack Walsh, Gail Husband; many nieces and nephews and many friends in New York and Florida. Pat was a longtime devoted member of Immaculate Conception Church in Greene. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Pat was a community volunteer for several organizations. Her hobbies included gardening, golfing, biking, water aerobics, kayaking and crafting. In her travels with Gary, they visited every state except for two and also visited England, Ireland, Scotland and Whales. She was admired for her sense of humor and quick wit. She loved and was very devoted to her family and friends. A memorial mass will be held 11:00am Thursday, August 31, 2023 with a luncheon to follow at Immaculate Conception Church, 1180 NY-206 Greene, NY 13778. Friends of the family may call Thursday from 10:00am until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial Contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, Greene Emergency Squad, Greene Food Bank or Lourdes Hospice.
