Patricia M. Heisler

Patricia M. Heisler, 90, of Smithville Flats went to be with the Lord, her husband and her 2 sons on February 16, 2024. She is predeceased by her husband, Fred Heisler Sr., and sons, Mark and Karl Heisler. Pat is survived by her children, Fred and Patty Heisler Jr., Eric and Rose Heisler, Barbara and Jim Lake, Timothy and Donna Heisler, Karen Boardman, Linda and Steve Siptrott, Kurt Heisler (Lorraine Lonzinski) and Kathy and Chris Merrill; 16 grandchildren;12 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Pat lovingly raised her 10 children on the family farm in Smithville Flats with her childhood sweetheart and late husband of 69 years, Fred Sr. On that farm they instilled the importance of strong values and work ethic to their children. She had the wedding of her dreams when Fred and she renewed their vows on their 50th wedding anniversary. She had many passions which included jewelry, flowers, anything in the shape of a heart, Elvis and most of all her and Fred's love for antiques. Their expertise led them to opening two antique shops in Smithville Flats, along with countless shows over a period of 50+ years.  Pat's life was defined by hearts, representing the love that she showed to everyone. Friends of the family may call from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, February 23, 2024 at Root Funeral Home, 23 N. Chenango St, Greene, NY 13778. Services will be private.
