Nancy L. Haberl

Nancy Lee (Strong) Haberl, 78 of Greene, passed away peacefully at home on her birthday, March 2 with her loving husband Russ by her side. She was beloved daughter of the late Lloyd and Madge (Otto) Strong. She was also predeceased by brother-in-law, John Premielewski. She is also survived by her daughters, Deborah (Frank) Baginski, Beverly Klein and the Haberl children, Russell Jr., Matthew, Steven, Kimberly, Christopher and their spouses; 16 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; brother, Ronald (Carol) Strong; sister, Barbara Premielewski and several nieces and nephews. Nancy met her husband Russ when she was in the fourth grade. She was employed as a proofreader for 15 years at J.C. Publishing Company in Binghamton. She was an active member of the First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ in Greene where she was on several committees. Nancy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
