Murray W. Pratt Jr. 65 of Smithville Flats passed away at home surrounded by his family  on Friday, August 8, 2025. He was predeceased by his father, Murray W. Pratt Sr. and close cousin, Michael D. Pratt. He is survived by his loving wife, Lori; children, Brandi (Matt) Collins, Nathan Pratt, Justin (Casey) Pratt, Amber (Dennis) Hopkins; grandchildren, Brooklynn, Nathan, Dale, Michael, Grayson, Annastasia, Madelynn, Adriana, Hudson, Carter; siblings, Ed (Michelle) Pratt, Bryan (Devon) Pratt, Annette Hennings; mother, Kathryn Pratt and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; special friends, Matt Franklin, Mike Ballas and Steve Mac. Murray retired from Raymond Corporation in Greene after more than thirty-five years of service after which he fulfilled his dream of owning Seebers Tavern in Smithville. He was an avid outdoorsman and the love of his life was his family. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Seebers Tavern in Smithville Flats from 12:00 to 4:00 PM.
