Mary E. Nelson

Mary E. Nelson, of Greene passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at New York State Veterans' Home in Oxford. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Raymond Nelson; brother, Ted Oakley and sister, Pauline Zimmerman. Mary is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Bruce Latham of Oneonta; sister-in-law, Carol Stafford of Oneonta; several nieces and nephews and many supportive special friends including Mindy Best, Bill and Carol Reid and Shellie. Her family wishes to thank the staff at Cooperstown Center and New York State Veterans' Home for their care of Mary. A funeral service will be held 11:00am Thursday March 13, 2025 at Berean Bible Church in Greene. Friends may call Thursday from 10:00am until the time of service at the church.
