Mark D. Savory

Mark D. Savory, 58, of Greene passed away suddenly on December 11, 2022. He was predeceased by his father, Donald Savory and his in-laws, Pat and Joe Wayman. He is survived by his mother Alberta; wife of 36 years, Penny; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Ashley and Vince Armagno and Marcie and Kyle Whitfield; grandchildren, Mason, Vincent, Hunter, Bowen, Alexis, Carter and Madelyn; 1 brother and 4 sisters and several nieces and nephews and many friends. Mark was a welder at Raymond Corporation for 36 years. He drag raced a 1980 Plymouth Volare with a 360 stroked and poked into a 410. It was stout! He enjoyed snowmobiling in the winter and jamming out to music while puttering around his garage. A funeral service will be held 12:00pm Saturday at Root Funeral Home 23 North Chenango Street, Greene, NY 13778. Friends of the family may call Saturday from 11:00am to the time of service at Root Funeral Home.
