Malcolm Stalker Obituary

Malcolm Edward Stalker Sr., 82 of Greene, passed away on June 30, 2020. He was born in Pine Mill, PA on April 19th, 1938 son of the late Wilfred and Aletha Stalker. He was also predeceased by his brother, Melvin Stalker. Malcolm is survived by his wife, Linda Stalker; his two sons, Vincent and Malcolm Stalker Jr.: his two daughters, Michelle Brown and Candice Mirch and his  beloved grandchildren, Kevin and Sarah Stalker, Gunnar, Sierra, and Destiny Brown, and Vanessa Mirch. Malcolm worked hard at Raymond Corporation for many years from where he retired to start his own Excavation business. He loved people and was always friendly with a great smile and good humor. He was always helping others with his undeniable selfless nature. He had rare charm, charisma, and a love for life. After retirement he devoted his remaining years to his wife, and his family. He spent much time doing “Grandpa Duty,” daycare pickup, gingerbread house building, always being present, and doing everything else his grandkids wanted or needed. He will be forever loved and remembered for all of the things he did for us and for how he touched and blessed our lives. He was a great role model and fully embodied what a great man should be. Fly high our beautiful angel, we will always love and miss you. A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under direction of Root Funeral Home 23 North Chenango Street, Greene, NY 13778 and condolences may be sent to the family at www.rootfh.com.
