Louise M. Spicer

Louise Marie Spicer, 73, passed away on January 11, 2022 at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown. She was born May 5, 1948 and was predeceased by her parents and a sister. Louise worked at CWS Workshop in Norwich for many years. When she retired from there, she enjoyed spending her days at New Berlin Day-Hab. Over the years, she developed many close friends and thought of them all as family. Louise resided with Tracy and Timothy Knapp for the last 19 years of her life. She was like a grandmother to the Knapp children and had a close bond with them all. She enjoyed family meals, outings and many camping trips. Louise will always be remembered for her sassy and humble ways. She was always willing to help and give anything she had to anybody she loved. May you rest easy “Lou Lou.”  A graveside service in Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Unadilla  will be announced in the spring by Root Funeral Home, 23 North Chenango Street, Greene, NY 13778.
