Lois I. Elliott

Lois I. Elliott, 94, lifelong resident of Greene, NY died on March 19, 2024 at Norwich Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Prior to entering the Norwich Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, she was a resident of Preston Manor. She was born on February 2, 1930 to Leland and Bessie Peterson Wright. On June 14, 1947 Lois married Donald L. Elliott who predeceased her on April 2, 1996. She was also predeceased by a sister, Gloria and brothers, Donald, Harold and Robert Wright. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Caroline Elliott of Oneida, NY; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Peggy Elliott of The Villages, FL; grandchildren, Deborah Usborne of Oneida, NY, Tonya Stankivitz of Canastota, NY, Brendon Elliott of Sorrento, FL, Graham Elliott of Orlando, FL and Bridget Elliott of Lake Mary, FL; seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Emma Jean Van Dusen, Beth Elliott, Charlene Torrey and husband John. Lois was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Greene, NY. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Root Funeral Home, 23 N.
