Kirsten Eaton Obituary

Kirsten E. (Lindblom) Eaton, 63, of Greene passed away on October 3, 2025. She was predeceased by her parents, Terry and Beatrice Lindblom; and brothers, Terry and Bob Lindblom. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Cseplo, Erin Cseplo, Chelsea Cseplo, Kelly Cseplo and Eamonn Cseplo; husband, Denny Eaton; sisters, Valerie MacCrabie and Kory McLean; and brother and sister-in-law, Sandy and Deb Lindblom. She lived her life with the well-being of all others in the forefront of her mind, enlisting in the USMC at the age of 19 where she was named an Expert Marksman Shooter and became a small arms instructor. She attended the Naval Academy of Music and was an accomplished member of the Marine band (clarinet/piccolo) before going on to raise a family of gifted musicians and artists. Later in life, she worked as a seamstress and a cake designer before returning to school to become an LPN both at UMH Hilltop and in private care. She took people into her family without hesitation and opened her heart to all those in need of it. We will all remember her effortless humor and immovable strength in even the most adverse of times. To have been loved by her is truly a gift. A graveside ceremony will be held at 10:00am Saturday, October 11 in Upper Cemetery in Smithville. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.rootfh.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Greene Emergency Squad 30 Birdsall Street, Greene, NY 13778 or Zion Episcopal Church 10 N. Chenango Street, Greene, NY 13778
