Kim Bergmann Obituary

Kim Bergmann, 71, of Greene passed away on October 12, 2024. She was born on September 24, 1953, in St Louis Missouri and lived her early years in Rockville, Maryland. She was predeceased by parents, Anne Titchener Goodrich and Dr. Wells Goodrich of Maryland; grandparents, Dorothy and Paul Titchener, Binghamton, NY and Violet and Donald Goodrich, Massachusetts. She is survived by her husband, Karl; son, Jimmy and her daughter-in-law, Samantha and two grandchildren, Sophia and Paxton. She is also survived by two sisters, Laurie Goodrich, Pennsylvania and Tara G. Tetrault (nee Goodrich), Maryland, along with brother-in-law, Robert Tetrault and two nieces, Allaire Tetrault and Olivia Tetrault; sisters-in-law, Norma Bergmann and her daughter, Jesilyn, Kris Lomonaco and her husband Mark, Arna O'Neill and her  husband Jeff and their children, Erin and John, Conni Koury and her husband Lou.  Kim attended Green Acres School for elementary school, where her mother worked, and graduated from Woodward High School, Rockville, in 1971. She attended George Washington University in Washington DC where she majored in theater and excelled in set and costume design. She had many great friends including a lifelong friendship with next door neighbor in childhood Ellen Prentiss Campbell on West Hill Drive, Rockville and special friends, Ginger Wood Kipper and Cindy Wood Fuller. She loved family summers spent at Quaker Lake, Pennsylvania and moved to Binghamton, NY in1978 to help her grandmother. She loved old houses, depression glassware, and re-imagining home design and redecorating. She worked many years for Broome County Social Services in Binghamton. A celebration of life is to held 2:00pm on November 23, 2024 at My Uncles Place, 120 I-88 Service Road Binghamton, NY 13901.
