Kathy D. Rogers

Kathy (Mathewson) Rogers, 68, of Norwich, passed away unexpectedly as a result of a car accident on January 6, 2020. She was predeceased by her husband, Wayne Rogers; parents, Robert and Daisy Mathewson; sister, Phyllis Law; niece, Diane and nephew, Steven. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Kristen Reed (fiancé Kurt Johnson) and Danielle (Justin) Parker; 11 grandchildren, Brandon, Alexis, Jordan, Austin, Jesse, Julia, Vaughn,Kaden, Meghan, Cody and Nicholas; 1 great-grandaughter, Adasyn ; sister, Joan Sumpter; 2 brothers, David and Michael; brother-in-law, Ed; many nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, such as Mena and Meryll neighbors, Jamie, Brian, Emily, Victoria and Ryan; her canine companion, Jojo and her four cats. Kathy graduated from Norwich High School in 1969. She sang in various bands and worked throughout the years in numerous jobs. She volunteered in many animal shelters and loved animals. Services for Kathy will be held at a later date.
