Katherine (Kay/Katie) M. Sands of Greene

Katherine M. Sands, 82, of Greene passed away on July 21, 2024. She was predeceased by her parents, Elmer and Helen Ingraham; brother, James Ingraham; sister-in-law, Cindy Ingraham and longtime companion, Harry Dodd. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Curt Pollard; brother, Richard Ingraham; grandchildren, Christopher (Nicole), Heather (Clifford) and Jessica; great-grandchildren Abigail, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Colton and Patric; niece, Heather (Elzy); nephew, Jared (Starla) and great-nephews, Easton and Holden; long time friends Bobbi Badger, Jean Stevens and her loving cat, Lilly Rose.

 Kay was loved and cherished by her family and friends.  She will be missed greatly by all that knew her.  She had a very close and special relationship with her daughter and was an amazing mom.  Kay retired from Victory/Great American after 33.5 years in 2002. She enjoyed kayaking, gardening and loved to mow her lawn.  She was always ready to help her neighbors and friends with whatever they needed, especially with yard work and pet sitting. Her family and friends always requested her lasagna, apple pie and oatmeal raisin cookies.
