June M. Cooper

June M. Cooper, 88 of Greene, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Saturday December 26, 2020. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley; son, Larry; brother, Chet Jr. and sisters, Gloria and Leah. June is survived by her children, Stan (Melissa) Cooper and Deb (Ron) Howard; daughter-in-law, Misty Cooper; grandchildren, Laura (Bill) Johnson, Shawn (Casey) Ellsworth, Billie Jo Cooper (Jeff Rotella), Tamra (Josh) Kueider, Vanessa Brice, Elizabeth Roser, Jack Thibodeau, Alex (Kailyn) Csigi, Emily Martindale, Wendy Gollogly (Tim Mowry) and Lisa (Mark) O’Hern; great grandchildren, Brittany, Rylee, Peyton, Joshua (JJ), Gabriella, Brenden, Isiah, Joe, Shania, Leah, Savannah, Tillie and Trinity and brother, Jack (Janice) Ingraham. June was a part of many organizations in the Greene community including the Greater Greene Chamber of Commerce, Greene School Board, Greene Community Services, Greene Rotary Club, Greene Labor Day Committee, Wyoming Conference Home and Lifeline supporter. She was a member of Zion Episcopal Church in Greene. A graveside service will be held 2:00pm Thursday, December 31 at Vestal Hills Cemetery.  Friends of the family may call Thursday 11:00am to 1:00pm at Root Funeral Home, 23 North Chenango Street, Greene, New York 13778.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greene Community Services, PO Box 388, Greene, New York 13778 and condolences may be sent to the family at www.rootfh.com.
