Joyce C. Burt

Joyce C. Burt, 85, of Greene passed away July 7, 2021 at Norwich Rehab & Nursing Center. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles D Burt and son, Brian Burt. Joyce is survived by granddaughter, Heather (Daniel) Montgomery; great granddaughters, Logen and Harlee Montgomery; several close friends and extended family.  Joyce was a long time resident of the Brisben and Greene area. Many people remember her fondly from her work as a teller for Key Bank where she retired from after 27 years of service.  One of her favorite things to do was camping which she and her husband spent over 20 years doing at the Yellow Lantern Campground in Cortland.  Joyce loved to play BINGO, and never missed an opportunity to go dancing with her husband Chuck.  She was a loving and caring grandmother and great grandmother, she thought that the sun rose and set in her grandkids. 
The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Norwich Rehabilitation for the amazing care they delivered over the past several months especially nurses Tishena and Kayla. There will be no formal services at her request, however, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
