Joseph F. Golden

Joseph F. Golden, 85, passed away peacefully at his home on October 18, 2024 after living a full and beautiful life. He was born on June 6,1939 in Kearney, NJ to Joseph and Jean (Kincaid) Golden. He graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in Malone, NY in 1957, University of Nevada at Reno and Fairleigh Dickinson University. He worked as a business manager, a salesman and college professor and thoroughly enjoyed his careers. He is predeceased by his wife and the love of his life of 59 years, Diane L. (Forkey) Golden; his parents, Joseph and Jean (Kincaid) Golden; brothers, John and James Golden and sister, Margaret Jean (Golden) Becker. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa (John) Treadwell; grandchildren, Elisabeth (Jeff) Rurey, Jessica (Rob Dayton) Treadwell and Daniel (Brandee) Treadwell; great-grandchildren; Josie, Emma and John Rurey; sister, Wilma (Golden) Brinster and many beloved sisters and brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews. Joe fiercely loved his family, friends near and far, the game of golf, political banter, good food and dirty martini.
