John J. Scherer

John (Jack) Jacob Scherer of Greene, NY sadly left us on February 9, 2023 at the age of 84. Jack was preceded in death by his wife Heather Scherer, daughter, Lucinda Scherer-Foster, brother Arthur Scherer, and his dogs, Rocky and Indy. He is survived by sibling Jill Schexnayder, and her husband, Larry Schexnayder; his children, Christina Smith and Jackie Conklin; his grandchildren, Brittany Reilly, Brianne Foster, William Reilly, Kourtney Reilly, Nicole Reilly, Lee Conklin, and Jada Conklin; and his great granddaughter, Aquamarina Reilly. Jack was a loving father, devoted grandparent, and loved watching his dog Sweetie roaming around his home in Greene. Jack devoted his life to taking care of miniature horses, cows, and his latest adventure chickens. A celebration of life will be celebrated on July 1st, 2023 at 3pm at the camp.
