John Dean Clark, of Greene went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. He was preceded in death by his mother, Deanna Sue Stackhouse Clark and uncle, John Renner. John is survived by his wife of 26 years, Karen; their two daughters, Shannon and Renée Clark; father, Donald Clark; brother, David (Karin) Clark; aunt, Jo Anne Stackhouse Renner; cousin, Donald (Barbara) Renner and nephew, Darin Clark. John was born in French Lick, Indiana and graduated from Indiana State University in 1987. He was a member of the Pi Lambda Phi fraternity. Some of the best moments of his life were during his time at Club Mediterranean as a SCUBA diving instructor. To his friends and co-workers at Club Med, he was known as “Big John” for his charming wit and charismatic personality. It was also at Club Med where he met his wife, Karen. From there, the team taught SCUBA diving on cruise ships in the Caribbean. The pair raised their two children in Florida, and then moved to New York State in 2009. John worked at Tioga and Vernon Downs Casinos as the Director of Internal Audit. Following his tenure there, he worked at NBT Bank Headquarters in Norwich, New York, as a Certified Fraud Examiner. John loved his family more than anything else. He is certainly sailing the sailboat of his dreams in heaven.
