Jeannette "Jay" Morley, 53, of McDonough passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones on November 22, 2025. She was predeceased by her father, Thomas A. Stiles. She is survived by her husband, Kevin Morley; mother, Suzanne Stiles; son, Colten Morley; son, Dillion Morley; brother, Thomas O. Stiles; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronald and Laureen Morley; her animals, Pheonix, Amber and Cassie; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a loving caring wife and mother and beloved by everyone that knew her. She served voluntarily and bravely at the McDonough Fire Department as a fire police and also served on the Chenango County search and rescue team. She enjoyed playing video games with her twin boys such as Skyrim Elder Scrolls, Minecraft and Call of Duty. She loved to plant flowers in her free time, but for some reason she had a black thumb and never had any luck. She loved to lay back and relax and watch a good classic horror movie with her family. She worked at Valley View nursing home in Norwich for 10 years. She enjoyed taking care of residents and building relationships with them. There will be a Celebration of Life December 13, 2025 at the American Legion in McDonough New York 13801. A graveside service will be held in the spring and announced on Root Funeral Home's website, http://www.rootfh.com.
