James "Jim" Pautard

James "Jim" Pautard, 52, of Oxford peacefully passed away on September 30, 2024. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Betsy and Norman Smith of Oxford; sister and brother-in-law, Elise and Arthur Tewksbury of Oxford; sister, Annette Manwarren of Vestal; grandmother, Alice Ross of Oxford; spouse, Sarah Harrison; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim graduated from Oxford Academy. After graduation he went on to have several jobs including carpenter and technician for natural gas companies. He had a natural gift to craft and fix things with his hands. Jim also was an avid outdoorsmen; he loved to hunt, fish and spend time in nature. He was one of a kind and will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Root Funeral Home, 23 N. Chenango St, Greene, NY 13778. Friends of the family may call from 4:00pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
