Geraldine K. Hewitt

Geraldine K Hewitt passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving daughter, and surrounded by her grandchildren on September 24, 2023 at the age of 80 years old. She is predeceased by her parents, Kathleen and Frank Tylka; her loving son, Billy; brothers, Jim and Fred; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her daughter, Katherine;  grandchildren, Brock,  Danielle, Brian and Noah; sister, Linda; sister-in-laws, Marguerite and Phyllis, as well as many nieces and nephews. Geraldine was a long time resident of Greene. She wore many hats during her long stent of employment in Greene that included, but not limited to, personal home health care, domestic cleaning, the Greene Electric Company, Greene Police Department, Greene Post Office, NBT Bank, and the Chenango American. If you knew Gearldine, you knew her to be a very hard worker, as well as a very loving and dedicated friend to many. Her family is holding a private memorial service for her at Geraldine‘s request.
