Gary F. Kliment

Gary F. Kliment, 73, formerly of Greene passed away on June 4, 2023 in Columbus, Mississippi. He was predeceased by his late wife, Barbara; son, Michael; parents, Joseph and Mary; sister, Verdine Mary. Gary is survived by his fiancée, Marti Smith; daughter, Eneth Davenport; 6 grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Tonya Kliment and brother, Joseph Kliment. Gary grew up and went to Greene Central Schools. He served his country in the US Marines as a tank commander. After coming back from the Marines, he worked for Raymond Corporation as an auditor until his retirement. After the death of Barbara, he moved to Columbus, MS to be closer to his children and grandchildren. Two years ago, Gary met Marti and they enjoyed traveling and going for motorcycle rides. Friends of the family may call from 12:00pm to 1:00pm Tuesday, June 13 at Root Funeral Home, 23 N. Chenango St, Greene, NY 13778. Burial with military honors will follow at Vestal Hills Cemetery.
