With profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Felicia Bostelman at the age of 90, surrounded by her beloved family on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Felicia was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 57 years, Henry Bostelman, Sr.; her parents, Grace and Oscar Lerwick, Sr.; her brother, William Lerwick, Sr.; and her sister, Anna (Funnell) Ziegelmeier. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Debbie Bostelman; her daughter, Cindy Bostelman; and her cherished grandson, Matthew Bostelman, all from Coventry. She also leaves behind her brother, Oscar Lerwick Jr.; extended family members, Paul Slivka, Jr., John and Terri Jackson, and her adored grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Andrew Jackson of Norwich. Felicia held a special place in her heart for her cousin Johanna Lerwick and her lifelong best friend, Ruth Lashway, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Felicia was a longtime resident of the area and alongside her husband, she co-owned Bostelman Livestock Transportation and Livestock Sales Company. For 26 years, Felicia and Henry traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada, delivering cattle and nurturing their family business. A devoted partner to Henry, Felicia also had a deep passion for her family and community. She was a dedicated fan of the Afton Knights Softball Team, coached by her daughter Cindy. Above all, Felicia cherished her role as a grandmother. She enthusiastically supported Matthew, Kaitlyn, and Andrew in all their endeavors, attending every performance, game, and event. Her grandchildren’s successes were her greatest source of pride. She also found comfort and companionship in her beloved cat, Bella, who was always by her side. Private services to honor Felicia's life are entrusted to Root Funeral Home, Greene, NY.
