Ernest Ray Youngs

Ernest Raymond Youngs, 70 of Greene passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021.  He was predeceased by parents, Ernest G. and Bessie Youngs; sister, Joan and brother-in-laws, Ed Phetteplace and Richard Davies.  Ray is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Melissa Youngs and their children, Kylee Peck, Lincoln and Kaitlyn Youngs; sisters, Sandy Phetteplace, Jean Davies, special friend Evelyn Chapman and nieces and nephews. Ray was a highly skilled and accomplished finish carpenter in the Greene area. He was a dedicated Greene Lions Club member.  He was a supportive father and grandfather. Friends of the family may call Wednesday March 31, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at Root Funeral Home, 23 North Chenango Street, Greene, New York 13778. The funeral will be private.
