I always looked forward to seeing Ellen at the Norwich Farm Market.  She made the best raspberry peach jam ever, and the jam and her bright smile will always be missed.

Ellen and I grew up visiting our grandparents together in the summer. We learned to paint with oils from Grandma Jennison. We made dolls from holly hocks, put forget-me-nots in Grandpa's hat band, played rummy for countless hours and put on dress-up shows in the hay loft. Many happy memories together! One of my last ones was years ago when she took me to see the old Jennison home which was looking just as fine as it did when the originals came down from Massachusetts. Thank you, Ellen. May your soul soar now with the ones you love on the other side.
