Elizabeth L. Dietrich

Elizabeth L. Dietrich, 87, of Greene, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Charles C. Dietrich Jr.; parents, Arthur and Elizabeth (Watterson) Parker; brother, Arthur Parker and sister, Margaret Brownlie. She is survived by her children, Charles Dietrich (Michelle Dragotta) of Greene, Michael and Kay Dietrich of Montrose, PA and Susan and Brian Whipp of Apalachin; grandchildren, Corey, Colleen and Christian Dietrich and brother, Andrew Parker of Cape Coral, FL.  Elizabeth was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She attended all of her grandchildren’s sporting events and was active in their daily lives. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Greene. She looked forward to her weekly bowling league and occasional trips to local casinos with her friends. Friends of the family may call Saturday May 6, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Root Funeral Home. The funeral service will be private. Burial will be at Sylvan Lawn Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 32 S. Chenango Street, Greene, NY 13778.
