Doris L. Clinton

Doris (Loomis) Clinton, 87 of Greene, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at her home surrounded by family. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley D. Clinton and son, Kevin Stanley Clinton. She is survived by her daughter, Audrey R. Clinton; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Kimberly Clinton; 6 grandchildren, Erin Sauer, Brendan Evans, Joseph Karol, Nicole Clinton, Jordan Conkling and Dakotah Barlow; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Eunice (Loomis) Barnes of Portland, Maine; brother, Arthur Loomis of Aiken, South Carolina and many nieces and nephews. Doris graduated from Greene Central School as well as Ridley-Lowell Business College. She retired from Troop C State Police in Sidney where she was the secretary to the First Sergeant. She was a life-long member of the Central Baptist Church in Greene where she served as  Deaconess, sang in the choir and was in the Dorcas Circle. Doris enjoyed working on the Board of Elections during voting and was a volunteer at the Greene Clothing Bank.
