Diane G. Finch

Diane G Finch, 74, passed away on January 27, 2025 after a long illness. She was predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Erma Leone (Paddleford) Finch; and brother-in-law, James Klee. Diane is survived by her sister, Debbie Vandermark and Tom Engle; nephew, Jay (Jake) Klee; niece, Angie (Kisner) and Tom Bergholtz; grand-nephews (the Bergholtz boys), Matt and Olivia, Mike, Steve and John along with several cousins. Diane grew up in Quinneville and graduated with the class of 1968 at Greene High School before attending Alfred State College in NY. She was a member of North Fenton Methodist Church. She worked many jobs including EPIC and GAF-Ozalid-Anitec. She enjoyed her time and many friends at Reynolds Pointe in JC; especially playing Bingo and games with her friends like Racko and Dominos. Diane loved her dogs, mostly Minder Sue and Cher. She also enjoyed her mechanical dog who kept her company during her illness, since she couldn't have a real dog. The family would like to say thank you to her wonderful helpers who she enjoyed, Robin, Barbara, Crissi and Lori. A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Root Funeral Home, 23 N. Chenango St, Greene, NY 13778. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to North Fenton Methodist Church, 5984 NY-79, Chenango Forks, NY 13746 or Broome County Dog Shelter, 110 Cutler Pond Road Binghamton NY 13905.
