Darlene L. Lindberg

Darlene L. Lindberg, 73, of Smithville Flats passed away on December 7, 2022 with her daughter, husband and great niece by her side. She was predeceased by her parents, Vernon and Lotti Kenyon; 9 brothers and sisters, and several nieces and nephews. Darlene is survived by her husband of 50 years, Carl Lindberg; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Scott Murn; grandsons, Scott and Hunter Murn; special niece, Jeanette Sutton and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Darlene was an avid golfer and back in her hay day she could outdrive most of the men. She loved to bedazzle and she always had to-do sticky notes all over the house. She had a passion for keeping her house spotless and clean, and she did the same with their lawn always making sure it was fluffed up. Her dog Tucker was her support animal protecting her while she was ill and she loved him endlessly. Darlene will be dearly missed by all and will always be on her families minds. They are sure she is up above raising some hell and resting in peace. The funeral service will be private and friends are invited to a celebration of her life from 3:00pm to 7:00pm Monday, December 12, 2022 at Genegantslet Golf Course, 686 NY-12, Greene, NY 13778. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the National Shriners Hospital, Shriners Hospitals for Children Attn: Processing Center PO Box 947765 Atlanta, GA 30394.
