Carolyn M. Tripple, 83, of Coventry passed away at her home on June 26, 2026.
She was born in Fords Lake, PA on December 9, 1942, to Gerald and Georgia (Truesdell) Taylor. She met the love of her life, Tom Tripple in Coventry, NY in 1963. They married January 9, 1964. They shared 62 years of happiness together. Carolyn and Tom had 2 children; daughter, Loni (Ken), and son Brian (Regina). Their family grew to include granddaughters, Brittney (Sean), and Kassi, as well as great-grandchildren, Thomas and Eliana.
Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother (nana), who cherished spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, needle pointing, reading, and was an avid sports fan. She retired from nursing to raise her children and help her husband run their family business, Coventry Leasing.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Thomas; brother-in-law, Mark Pullman; her daughter and son; granddaughters; great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Dawn (Bob) Cross; brother and sister-in-law, Gerald (Sylvia) Taylor; and sister-in-law, Vanessa Pullman.
The family would like to thank friends and the community for their compassion and support.
A memorial service will be held Sunday July 12, 2026 2pm, at Coventry United Gospel Church, 2569 State Highway 206 Greene (Coventry), NY 13778. A graveside service will follow at the Coventry Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the Coventry Volunteer Emergency Squad, 109 N Rd, Greene, NY 13778 or Coventry United Gospel Church in Carolyn’s memory.
