Bridget B. Gilroy

Bridget B. Gilroy, 70, of Greene passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on March 21, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret (Peg) and Robert J. Browning and mother-in-law and father-in-law, June and James Gilroy. Bridget is survived by her husband of 47 years, Kevin M. Gilroy; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Joshua Boeltz; son, Kevin C. Gilroy and his girlfriend, Aimee Kellicutt; brothers, Luke (Anita) Browning, Robb (Norinne) Browning and Eugene Browning; wonderful brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kate (Dave) Young, Jim (Jane) Gilroy, Eileen Korpita, Mary (Andrew) Lake, Anne (Tom) Payne, Jean (Manny) Corday, Jaime (Rich) Schneider and Beth (John) Patry; special friends, Donna Curtis, Carol Drachler, Valerie Puglisi and Marian Abbey Assur; other siblings and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Bridget was a devoted mother and an amazing friend. She enjoyed the beauty in all of God’s creation and of life itself. A memorial mass will be held 11:00am Saturday, March 26 at the Church of Immaculate Conception, 1180 NY Route 206, Greene, NY 13778. Friends of the family may call from 4:00 to 7:00pm Friday, March 25 at Root Funeral Home, 23 N. Chenango St, Greene, NY 13778.
