Anna Mary Dunphy

Anna Mary Dunphy, 94, of Greene, was called to join her eternal partner, John, in the loving and merciful arms of the Lord on December 5, 2021. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Anna Czarik; by her sister, Theresa Murphy; and by two brothers, Paul and John Czarik. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Vanderweyde and Michael Dunphy; her granddaughter, who was the light of her life, Tara (Michael) Vanderweyde Saltis; several nieces and nephews; close friend, Karl Lum; and her caregivers, Cindy Lum, Amanda Wright and Christine Bixby. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and we are grateful for her life and her love. A graveside service at Sylvan Lawn Cemetery will be announced in the spring by Root Funeral Home, 23 North Chenango Street, Greene, NY 13778. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greene Emergency Squad, 30 Birdsall Street, Greene, NY 13778. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.rootfh.com.
