Amy M. Morris

Amy M. (Morley) Morris, 51, of Greene passed away peacefully November 9, 2021 at the home of her best friend with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Cecil Barrows Sr.; paternal grandparents, Gladys and Robert Morley and special aunt, Christine Ryberg. Amy is survived by her children, Tyanne Morris (Devin) of Oxford, Ceara Morris (James) of Greene and Nathaniel Morris of Greene; grandchildren, Riley, Noah, Piper, Aryah, Landon, Ryan and Lucas; mother, Susan Barrows Dunham and step-father, Sidney of Greene; father, Ken Morley of McDonough; sister, Audrey Morley of South New Berlin; brother, David Morley of McDonough; step-brother, Stefan Dunham (Dominique); like a brother to her, Patrick Dobo; best friend, Laurie Franklin and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Amy was loved by many and will be so missed. She touched so many lives in many ways. Amy worked for several places in the village of Greene; which included the Tier, Sherwood Inn, Nathanial Greene’s Public House, Greene Extra Mart and the Lessings at Raymond’s. Per Amy’s wishes there will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date by Root Funeral Home, 23 North Chenango Street, Greene, New York 13778.
