Adam Roy Todack, aged 6 months, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on the evening of July 1, 2023. He was predeceased by his great-grandparents – George Casterlin; Joseph and Justina Todack, Donald Sr. and Elizabeth Culver, and Hiram Gilbert. Adam is survived by his parents - Kyle and Danielle Todack; grandparents - Jerry and Rita Todack and Donald Jr. and Carrie Culver; great-grandmothers - Leona Casterlin and BJ Gilbert; aunts and uncles - Justin Culver, Tom Todack, Doug Todack; Sheri and Alex Dunkle; great aunt - Mary Fran Killoran, godparents - TJ and Christine McAuley and many other important aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Despite his many medical challenges during his brief time here on earth, Adam was a light and blessing to all who knew him. A warrior from birth, he was strong, brave, and courageous through countless medical exams, therapies, and procedures. Adam was a real-life superhero who was loved by his family, friends, and everyone who got to experience the joy of his smile and laugh. He was a happy and engaging baby who loved cuddling with his mom, dad, and grandparents, enjoyed dancing veggies and his aquarium toy, as well as flirting with his nurses and medical care team, especially nurses Chelsea and Mady. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Root Funeral Home, 23 North Chenango Street, Greene, New York, 13778. Burial will follow in Sylvan Lawn Cemetery, Greene, New York. Friends of the family may call Thursday from 10:00am to 11:00am at Root Funeral Home. The Todack family would like to make two small requests. Secondly, the family asks that those who attend the funeral service wear bright and colorful clothes in lieu of traditional dark funeral attire to honor Adam’s memory.
