Wanetta Barrett

Wanetta “Skeet-Cricket” Barrett, 68, of Chenango Forks, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at home.  She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Ritch Sr.; father, Oliver Frost;  mother, Margaret & Leland Mudge and sister, Donna Hohn.  She is survived by her husband, Walter “Harry” Barrett; son, Carl Ritch Jr.; two daughters, Diana Ritch and Janel Luce; grandchildren, Dustin Ritch,  Kami, Tiffany and Zachary Luce, Damien, Bella, Livia, Sophia Barrett; stepchildren, Jim, Christopher, Bridgett and Elizabeth; eleven step-grandchildren; sister, Patricia Mueller; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger and Bernie Frost, Chuck and Kitty Frost; sister-in-law, Lois Yurko; brother-in-law, John Barrett and many nieces and nephews.  Cricket really enjoyed her trips to the casinos.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Root Funeral Home, 23 N. Chenango Street, Greene, NY 13778.  Friends of the family may call Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association,  Central New York Chapter, 441 West Kirkpatrick Street, Syracuse, NY 13204.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.rootfh.com.
