Theresa L. Mitchell

Theresa Mitchell passed away November 26, 2017 surrounded by her loving family, after a 3 ½ year battle with pancreatic cancer. She faced the challenge with determination, strength, dignity and a sense of humor. Terri is survived by the loves of her life, her daughter, Ciara and her son, Michael and daughter-in-law Samantha Gravelin; her siblings, John (Charlotte) Mitchell, Sandra (Dennis) Barbarise, Roseann (John)Henne and Katherine (Chris) Bruder; 9 nieces and nephews; 4 great-nieces and nephews; her life-long friend, Deidre Monaco and her daughter Corrine; and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Roseann and Butch Mitchell. Terri dearly loved her friends and the Greene Community. She appreciated all of the love, support and strength that you all gave to her. The outpouring of love that she received was a reflection of the love that she so generously gave to everyone she met.  A celebration of Terri’s life will be held 1:00PM Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Zion Episcopal Church 10 N. Chenango St, Greene, NY 13778. Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to the time of service at Zion Episcopal Church. Please join the family for a luncheon at the church after the service.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Ciara’s education fund. Please make checks payable to John Mitchell and send to Zion Episcopal Church.  Terri had a strong faith that never wavered. Never Ever Give Up!
