Richard L. Brundege

Richard L. Brundege, 70, of Greene passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. He was predeceased by his father, Richard W. Brundege and by his mother, Joyce (Brundege) Rosenberger. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Brundege: son, Jeffreyand Donnina Jones; siblings, Jeanne and Gerald Harris of South New Berlin, John and Tracy Brundege of Harpursville, Linda and Pat Brundege of Walton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Richard was a graduate of Walton High School and SUNY Morrisville. He was employed by Mold-A-Matic in Oneonta, Raymond Corporation in Greene, HO Wolding in WI and Unison in Norwich. Richard enjoyed stock car racing, model railroading, music and traveling. He was assistant Scout Master with Boy Scout Troop # 162 in Greene for many years. Friends of the family may call Monday, January 28, from 9:30 to 10:45am at Root Funeral Home, 23 North Chenango Street, Greene, NY 13778. A memorial service will follow at 11:00am Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scout Troop #162 at 3979 NY Route 206 Greene, NY 13778 or a charity of ones choosing.
