Phillip T. Sherwood, 73, of Greene, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Paul and Eleanor Sherwood. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Terry Sherwood; 2 sons and daughter–in-law, John Sherwood, James and Carrie Sherwood; grandchildren, Kaitlynn (Eric), Taylor, Gabriella, Broc, and Trent; 2 step-grandchildren, Wyatt and Evan; 4 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Doreen Sherwood. Phil served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Great American after 35 years of service. Phil was an avid golfer and had many memorable skin matches with his good friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the family c/o Terry Sherwood 2 Scott Avenue, Greene, New York 13778 to help with medical expenses.
